Something is always happening at Troop 2. Check the calendar for all your scheduling needs. Here are some things that will be coming up in the near future. If you're planning on going camping then you'll need one of these. Permission slip in Adobe or Word IMPORTANT INFO: All permission slips and CASH for each campout are due two weeks in advance, unless otherwise stipulated. This will allow time to create patrols, create menus and go shopping. You must pay in cash. The money taken in is immediately given back out to the boys to do their shopping. Paying by check for campouts is not allowed. Please, plan ahead and be prepared! We don't want anybody to miss out on a campout. Camp Phillips August 13-15 Rock Cut State Park. Something to offer for everyone. Swimming, hiking, fishing, and more. Come here to complete your merit badges from summer camp. We'll work on some of the historical merit badges here too. Cardboard Regatta. Handout Here September 17-19 Shabbona Camporee - Camp Big Timber- Mandatory for Philmont crews for training. September 24th Bob Jack Backpacker October 15-17 Webelo invitational at Seward Bluffs. I love this place. November 5-7 Canyon Camp for our annual Sportsman's Campout. December 17-19 Christmas at Big Timber - oh so close to home! And we REALLY do have both cabins right Ger? 2011 2011 July 4th - 16th Philmont Scout Reservation. Flyer Here. OTHER INFO: 1st Monday of every month - PLC 6:15. 1st Tuesday of every month. Committee meeting at the Elgin Riverside Club. 2nd Monday of every month - Adult Training in computer lab.
