Boy Scouts of America - Troop 2, Elgin Illinois

Founded in 1948, Troop 2 is located in the Shabbona District of the Three Fires Council in the heart of the beautiful Fox River valley. A boy led troop chartered by St John's Lutheran Church in Elgin that offers a full range of scouting. Troop 2 is active all year round with activities such as weekly meetings, a monthly camping program, service and eagle projects, as well as other special events such as a week long summer camp, spring break invitational and high adventure trips that may include Philmont Scout Ranch.
