Working at the Car Wash

Kristian Van Wiel is doing the fundraising portion of his Eagle Project this Sunday and he would really appreciate your help. The fundraiser is a car wash at Key West Car Wash - 215 Randall Road in South Elgin. The event will be from 10:00 - 3:00 on Sunday May 17th (this Sunday).

There are 2 shifts in which the scouts can help by drying the cars as they come out of the wash.
The shifts are 10:00 - 12:30 and 12:30 - 3:00
He could actually use more volunteers on the morning shift, but would appreciate help on either.
Scouts should wear clothes that they will not mind getting wet.
Food will be provided to all the volunteers.
Scouts will also get service hours for their participation!

Parents can help by purchasing tickets and getting their cars washed on Sunday.  The tickets are only $10.00 and valid on Sunday between 10 and 3 unless there is bad weather and then they will honor them on the following Monday or Tuesday.

Remember:    Successful Eagle Projects need the support of the Troop.
