For my Eagle project we will be building a foot bridge over a small creek at Sabatino Park in Sleepy Hollow. This project will take two days to complete.May 28th
Begin at 8am, end when forms are complete
Clear site of brush
Dig post holes
Frame forms for concrete
Install Rebar
Tools required:
Hand clippers, loppers, hand saws, shovels, post hole diggers, work gloves, wheelbarrows
June 8th
Begin at 9am , end when concrete is complete
Pour concrete (10am Ozinga Ready Mix Concrete)
June 10th
Begin at 1:30pm , end when poles installed
Install poles (SH Public Works)
June 11th
Begin at 8am , end when bridge is complete
Install telephone poles
Attach decking
Build railings
Tools required:
Drills, work gloves
Breakfast and lunch will be provided both Saturdays.
