Troop 2 scouts are "Helpful" and perform a number of service project each year. The annual projects are listed below. Other projects are on an as needed basis, check the calendar for these events.

These are the service projects that the Troop 2 scouts participate each year.

Road Cleanup

Troop 2 performs 3 road cleanups a year along a protion of Big Timber Road from Randall Road to Coombs Road through the Kane County Adopt-A-Highway Program. The road was chosen as it is runs along side the Three Fires Council Camp Big Timber. Check the calendar to see when the next road cleanup will be!

4th of July Parade

Troop 2 marches in the annual 4th of July parade in Elgin and collects food for a local food pantry. Check the calendar for date and time.

St John's Lutheran Church Cleanup

Troop2 thanks St. John's for all it does for us by cleaning up around the outside of the church and school and the parking lots. Always scheduled the Saturday before Mother's Day.

Bluff City Cemetery Memorial Day Flags

Troop 2 honors Veterans on Memorial Day each year by helping place flags on graves at Bluff City Cemetery. Check the calendar for date and time. The section that Troop 2 is assign looks like a rotated state of Minnesota.
